  • Organized along with fellow teachers of the Department of Zoology, blood group identification, haemoglobin estimation and body mass index identification for parents during Parent Teacher Association meeting in 2006, 2007 & 2008.
  • Served as volunteer two times for the Jasmine flower string/garland making and related craft workshop organized by the College in association with Madurai Chapter for Indian National Trust for Culture and Heritage in 2008 and 2010.
  • Also served as Co-ordinator-Women?s Studies Centre.
  • Volunteer on behalf of the college for the campaign against the ban of plastics organized by Soroptimist International in 2009.
  • Served as volunteer for mobilizing women?s self help group for participation in the special awareness meeting organized by the college on breast cancer in 2009.
  • Served as volunteer on behalf of the college in ?Madurai Vizha? The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Madurai hosted a three-day event from 28th to 30th January, 2011 focused on the diversity, history, heritage, cultural and historical significance of Madurai and arts of the oldest cultural capital city of Tamil Nadu to locals, domestic and foreign tourists.
  • As a Rotaract Club of Thiagarajar College Co-ordinator organized Eye camp as per the guidance of our college management, our college NCC-Army and Rotaract Club of Thiagarajar College with the help of Aravind Eye Hospital. 15 Rotaract students served as volunteers. 360 patients screened, 255 patients (71%) have been identified with various problems. It has given opportunity for examining their eyes and restoring their eyesight.
