The Women’s Studies Centre of Thiagarajar College, Madurai – 09 organized a Workshop on “Enhancing Workplace Efficiency through MS Office Skills” for Non-Teaching Women Faculties on 12th March 2026 at 10.30 a.m. in the Computer Science Lab, in alignment with SDG – 4 (Quality Education). The programme aimed to enhance digital and technical skills for improved workplace efficiency.

The programme began with a welcome address by Ms. V. Veena Vidhya Sri, Coordinator, Gender Studies. The resource persons, Mrs. S. M. Valli and Dr. M. R. Sumathi from the Department of Computer Science, conducted practical sessions on using ChatGPT for office tasks and MS Excel operations, as well as designing professional materials using Canva.

The workshop provided hands-on training, enabling participants to improve their digital skills and productivity. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. M. Alamelumangai, Assistant Coordinator, Women’s Studies Centre
