Advocacy Programme on "Fundamental Rights and Duties and Constitutional Remedies"

Women’s Studies Centre and Girls Students’ Counselling Cell jointly organised an awareness programme in association with the National Legal Rights Protection Council (NLPC) on Fundamental Rights and Duties & Constitutional Remedies. Dr. A. Suganthi welcomed the gathering. Dr.M.Eyini, Principal, in her presidential address emphasised the need for moulding students as responsible citizens and to equip them with knowledge pertaining to the Laws pertaining to them. Thiru. K.Samidurai, Advocate Madras High Court (Madurai bench) addressed the students on various problems encountered due to Law illiteracy. Mrs.Raji Vishwanath, Women’s Wing Director, NLPC, Madurai educated the students on internet security. All the outgoing students benefited out of this Programme.
