The institution was the first to offer B.B.A. in Tamil Nadu in 1970. Its 40 years history in the field of entrepreneurship enhances the professionalism of the students who are appointed in various premier institutions and industries. The department embarked on a new venture to design a special Post Graduate course in Management and Systems. Later, this was changed into Master of Human Resources Development, with an objective of making the students eligible for placements in government sector. This is a self-financed programme.
